Lord over the last few months 

So much has taken place

But in every situation I've seen your mercy & your grace

At times I've gotten to the point when I almost gave up

I felt like I was drinking from an empty cup

How I long for you to send your Holy Spirit down

And refresh my dry and thirsty soul overflowing on the ground

In your word you tell us when we're weak & cannot stand

You will reach down and raise us by your great & mighty hand

Lord I ask you once again to restore unto me

The joy of my salvation the way it used to be

Thank you Lord for hearing me & in your name I pray

You would give me all the strength I need to face each day
